Loyalty In Our Nations Service
Since the early 1940s, the Deer River Lions Club has lived up to the Lions motto, “We Serve”, helping make the greater Deer River area a stronger community.
Who BenefitsSponsoring Our Community
From sponsoring a swimming program and public park for our youth to helping with the area food shelf and roadside cleanup projects, the Deer River Lions are committed to making our community a better place.
Serving State & Beyond
In addition to local charities, the Deer River Lions support state, national, and international causes including the Lions Eye Bank, Leader Dog programs, diabetes research, and more.
Wild Rice Festival
For more than 70 years, the Deer River Lions have sponsored the World’s Largest Wild Rice Festival as their primary fundraising activity, bringing thousands together for a weekend of community.
We Serve.
The Deer River Lions Club exists for the community, but it cannot exist without the community. Thank you for supporting the Deer River Lions and the many local programs, causes, and charities they help each year.
