Family Fun Starts with a Ticket to Ride
The midway draws kids of all ages. There is usually a pre-sale special for rides that families can take advantage of. The midway has rides for children and adults as well as other games to play, and, of course, BINGO is played in the old fire hall. BINGO is one of the Lions Club activities of the Wild Rice Festival. It is the returns from BINGO that help pay for the swimming and other programs the Lions Club provides for area youngsters.

Join us as the night sky over Deer River comes alive with brilliant colors, booming bursts, and sparkling lights.
Saturday night Fire Works
Light Up the Night
The Saturday night fireworks work is prepared behind the High School, and the Extravaganza begins at 10 PM! Everyone stops what they are doing to watch the fireworks. Strangers coming through Deer River on either US Hwy 2 or Hwy 6 can see them for miles before they get to town.
